Dear New Kanye West Album 2010-

You haven’t arrived yet, but I await your arrival with anticipation. Will you spout your poetry to me? Like that one time? Okay, I know I wasn’t supposed to leak that, but you know what your music and your words do to me!

You’re like an overdue library fee stuck in the back of my mind. I know I need to do something about it, but it’s kinda a hassle with all the other words and books around, you know?

Seriously – your new album. What’s the deal? We’re ALL waiting for it to drop and you don’t EVEN LET US KNOW ON YOUR BLOG IN YOUR WAY? (And I wonder if you have a ghost-blogger writing for you. If you ask, I will purchase you a new keyboard that doesn’t have the CAPS LOCK stuck. That’s just how I roll.

Anyway. As I said, waiting for your new album in 2010 to drop and I thought I’d send a shout out to this blog that’s all about you. Will you read this and respond to me? You remember me, don’t you?

My reaction? I’m still not sure.

You have something you want Kanye West to read but don’t know how to get ahold of him? Send it to me and I’ll post it on the Internet. Granted, you could do that on your own somewhere – your own blog – but maybe someday when he’s waiting in line for something Mr. West himself will stop by the site. Wouldn’t you kick yourself then if I gave you a chance to send him an “open letter” for the world to see and you passed up the chance.
